iPhone photo apps
I’ve had Photogene for a while and would mess with some of my iPhone photos here and there, but on the MacNeil tour I got real psyched on editing all my iPhone photos and have been messing with some new apps. There are some awesome apps out there that I have linked to below, but I wish there was an app that would do everything I need… I’m really into the ability to adjust curves with PhotoCurves, but I wish you had more options, like saturation. I guess if Photogene had curves and vignetting, it would be the end all app, but for now, I’m shuffling thorough a few different apps to get my best results.
*EDIT – after a tip from Smoovebert, I realized Photogene does have a vignetting. It was hidden in the cheese border section that I never mess with… Stoked on that find!

I just messed with the levels and saturation on this image with Photogene.

Here are three color tests on the same image. This one I just messed with the curves using PhotoCurves Free.

This is the same image above, but I pulled the saturation down with Photogene.

This version, I adjusted the curves with PhotoCurves, pulled the saturation down a little with Photogene, and added a bit of vignetting with SnapFilters.

This image I adjusted using the pre-set filters of SnapFilters. I’m not as psyched on their default filters, but it’s a good option for some quick editing.
MacNeil Tour
Just got back from a two week tour with MacNeil. We did demos in Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa. The tour was amazing, here’s some photos from my iPhone.
MacNeil Packaging
I was shooting photos of all the new MacNeil stuff and snapped a few shots of some of the boxes. I’ve designed soooo many packaging elements for MacNeil and never photograph them… So my mission over the next month or so, is to get an archive of all the packaging I’ve done (that’s still around) and put it up on my site. Here’s a few photos of the current pedal box, seat post header card and grip packaging.
Brush Brush
I just downloaded a bunch of watercolor brushes for Photoshop… So much fun… haha… It’s been years since I’ve messed with free brushes, but I had some fun with these. Let’s see if I ever use em for a project.
Jay Miron
Some recent photos I shot of Jay Miron for his interviews on Dig and BMX Union.
