I have had my Canon Canonet for a while now and just before I got my Contax G2 I finally took a few rolls of film with the flash that came with the Canonet. I was down in Seattle when I took the photos and they are from Chris Martindale’s sisters birthday party at one of the best places on earth… Whirly Ball!

Just picked up my Canon Canonet from the repair shop. I bought this camear for $50 on ebay over the summer, but I happened to get it the same week I got my Leica D-Lux 3, so the Canonet sat on the shelf for months and I didn’t pick it back up until a few weeks ago. When I bought it on ebay, it said it was in perfect working condition, but apparently it had sat for a long time because the body and everything was in perfect condition, but the shutter was seized. I had to get it fixed and it ended up costing $70… I just got it back today and even though the ebay post said it was in working condition, I’m not going to complain about spending $120 on this camera. I can wait to get photos back it’s been so long since I’ve shot a roll of film!
I just posted my December magazine review on Defgrip. Check it out here.
